Many people are now just finding out about the incredible benefits of Breathwork. It’s one of the fastest growing wellness trends in the world right now. Vogue magazine called it the new yoga.
It can get a little confusing because Breathwork is an umbrella term. There are so many types of breathwork techniques that it’s sort of just like saying “fitness”. The style I teach is called “circular breathwork” or “Conscious connected breathing.”
It’s used to clear stress, anxiety, depression and trauma out of the nervous system. It will also give you an incredible clarity and feeling of “wholeness” like you’ve never experienced before in your life. The first time I ever tried breathwork was the first time I ever felt “whole.” I didn’t need to do more, or become more. I felt complete for the first time in my life.
So many people are now having this same incredible experience through Breathwork and it’s so powerful that they go out and tell all their friends and family about it. Then what happens is that person will Google “Breathwork Classes Near Me”. What they discover is very confusing because there are so many methods, techniques, and tons of “Breathwork branding”.
Although I do live in-person classes all over the country, the easiest and most convenient way is definitely in your home live via zoom. There’s also a 72 hour replay available afterwards.
There is a huge misconception when people hear the term Breathwork; some think it’s going to be a relaxing, gentle meditation. And although that does exist, that’s not what this is at all. It’s more like an intense workout physically and emotionally. Don’t worry, you’ve done something harder in your life than lay on the floor and breathe, I’m sure. With that said, there’s some reasons why you may want to have your first experience online rather than in person. Here are a few of the main reasons:
- It’s easier for people to let go of all their stuff when they’re home in their safe space.
- You can lay there and enjoy the payoff for as long as you like.
- There is no else around to distract you.
- I am coaching you through your headphones or speakers.
- You don’t have to drive afterwards.
- We all need this badly right now
